Amanda Tomkins

POSITION
Amanda is a Solicitor who specialises in all aspects of Criminal Law and works at our High Street office in Stourbridge. She spends most of her time at the local police stations and magistrates courts advising and representing clients.

CAREER
Amanda completed her training contract with Berry & Berry Solicitors in Manchester and remained there after qualifying in 2004. She relocated to the West Midlands in December 2006 and joined Talbots in January 2007. Amanda is a qualified Police Station & Court Duty Solicitor.

EDUCATION
Amanda obtained her GCSE’s at Broughton High School in Preston and continued on to Cardinal Newman College where she obtained 4 A Levels. She then moved to Sheffield for 4 years and spent three of these at Sheffield Hallam University studying for her BA Legal Studies Degree before spending a final year at Sheffield University completing the Legal Practice Course.

LEISURE
Amanda enjoys playing on her newly acquired Wii and classes it as a valid form of exercise! She has also recently joined the Talbots Netball Team.
