POSITION
Andrew Wakeman is a Partner and works from our High Street, Stourbridge premises. He is an advocate within the criminal department and thus represents clients at Magistrates Courts and Police Stations.

CAREER
Andrew undertook his training at Glaisyers in Birmingham, a firm with a particular specialty in crime. Following qualification, Andrew worked at Tallents Godfrey in Nottinghamshire where he gained experience in various areas of law including conveyancing, family and crime. He then returned to the Midlands, spending time at Challinors, where Civil litigation was added to the repertoire until finally arriving at Talbots in 1996 where crime has been his preoccupation.

EDUCATION
Andrew attended
King Edwards Grammar school in Aston obtaining various 'O' and 'A' levels and a love for Aston Villa. He then attended Nottingham University for his law degree before finally finishing a life of exams at the College of Law in York (overlooking the race course).

 

 

 

LEISURE
Andrew receives his fill of joy and despair by being a season ticket holder at Aston Villa and is an avid armchair follower of most other sports. He also enjoys films and travel (if only time would permit) and is being encouraged to develop an interest in gardening and in particular a vegetable plot.
