Jodie Smith

POSITION
Jodie Smith is a Solicitor and works at our High Street office in Stourbridge. She specialises in Criminal Law and Social Welfare Law. She is a fully accredited Police Station Representative and Duty Solicitor.

CAREER
Jodie completed her training at Ian Henery Solicitors in Willenhall in 2007, enjoying a variety of Criminal Law, she then progressed to work at Clive Shepherd and Co in Walsall, again experiencing life in a busy Criminal Practice. Jodie then moved to the Telford area in 2008 and worked for Elliott Bridgman Solicitors as a Criminal Solicitor. She commenced employment at Talbots Legal Advice Centre in November 2008.

EDUCATION
Jodie studied for both her GSCE’S and A-Levels at Shire Oak GM School in Walsall Wood. She then completed a unique degree of Law and Advice at Staffordshire University, including a placement at Walsall Citizens Advice Bureau, which allowed Jodie to train and advise in a number of areas including Welfare Benefits, Debt and Employment. Jodie has maintained a keen interest in these areas and holds a Debt Advice Certificate and continues to attend regular training updates in these areas.

LEISURE
Jodie enjoys spending time with her husband, who according to Jodie, believes he is the next Gordon Ramsey ! She also enjoys long country walks and spending time with her family.
