John Graham

POSITION
John is an Associate Solicitor, based at Dudley, dealing with family law and immigration.
 
CAREER
John was articled at Baches, West Bromwich and, following qualification as a solicitor in 1981, he moved to Tanfields as an assistant solicitor in January 1983.   He remained at Tanfields until acquisition by Talbots in 2010, working successively at the firm's Dudley, Netherton and Sedgley offices before returning to Dudley in 1997. During this time, he experienced a wide general contentious practice including family, personal injury, crime, general civil litigation and immigration.   He became a partner in Tanfields in 1988.  He now specialises in family disputes including finance and children cases and in immigration advice and appeal representation.
 
EDUCATION
Following secondary education at Maidstone Grammar School, John  attended the University of Birmingham and later studied at Guildford College of Law for what was then called Part II exams.
 
LEISURE
John Enjoys music (all kinds but especially Fairport Convention and 60s/ 70s West Midlands groups), travel, cooking and eating, reading, quizzes, live arts (particularly Birmingham Royal Ballet) and attempting to play guitar.   John is a Member and past President of Dudley Rotary Club, a Churchwarden and member of the bell ringing band, All Saints' Church, West Bromwich.
