Mary Mocklow

POSITION
Mary Mocklow is the firm's Practice Director and is based at our Market Street office in Stourbridge. Mary, with Martyn Morgan and Derek Simmonds, is responsible for the strategic planning of the Practice and combines this with the role of financial management.

CAREER
Mary brings to the Practice a wealth of commercial experience gained in industry and private accountancy practice before joining the legal environment firstly for a Law Practice in the United States of America and then more locally in Worcester before joining Talbots on a permanent basis four years ago. Along side her commitment to Talbots she works as an independent consultant to manufacturing and distribution companies.

EDUCATION
Mary was educated at Martley Chantry High School and then Bromsgrove College. Her main scholastic interest was music both theory and practical, playing piano, french horn, clarinet and various other musical instruments to a high standard having once had the pleasure of playing for a national ensemble conducted by Sir Richard Baker and Sir Malcolm Arnold. Mary has undertaken various other financial and management courses since leaving college.

LEISURE
Mary enjoys travel, good food, restaurants and music. She also enjoys sport, runs to keep fit and healthy and completed the Great North Run in 2000.

Mary made her first television debut at the age of 5 (yes in black and white) on the occasion of her primary school teacher's retirement having completed 46 years in service as a teacher!
