Tim Bishop

POSITION
Tim Bishop is a Partner and works at our High Street office in Stourbridge. He is an advocate dealing with all areas of Criminal and Road Traffic law and has had some experience in dealing with Taxi Licensing matters. Tim advises clients at Police Stations and Magistrates' Courts across the region.

CAREER
Tim trained and qualified with Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors in Hartlepool, before joining Rahman Ravelli, Halifax in 2003. After spending some time with this niche firm specialising in serious criminal offences he rejoined Tilly Bailey & Irvine, where he qualified as a Duty Solicitor. Tim joined Talbots in September 2005.

EDUCATION
Tim attended Laurence Jackson School and Prior Pursglove College in Guisborough, leaving with a variety of GCSEs and 'A' Levels. He then went on to study History at Hull University, leaving with a 2:1 degree and an as yet unused knowledge of the history of Pirates. Tim then attended the College of Law in York, studying for the Common Professional Examination and the Legal Practice Course before qualifying as a solicitor in 2003.

LEISURE
Tim enjoys watching most sports, especially football (in particular Middlesbrough FC) and cricket. He has recently taken up golf but does not like to be asked about his recent first visit to a club to play. Tim also enjoys photography and socialising with friends.

Whilst Tim is a staunch Middlesbrough fan he has often sat in the home stands at Aston Villa and West Brom matches, trying his best not to cheer when Boro score!
